 According to the Free Sewing Machine Scheme, Government of Karnataka distributes free sewing machine to deserving women.  The main objective of this scheme is to make women independent and financially empowered.  In every family there is one person who earns income.  But after covid the situation has changed.  In this case, it is very important that all members of the family do something and help each other as much as possible. In this case, the Karnataka Free Sewing Machine Scheme comes to the aid of women at home.

There are many women who have talent in tailoring.  But most of them are not able to buy machines due to financial problems.  Thus, the government aims to help poor women by distributing free Holi machines.  Accordingly, you too can apply for the free machine scheme offered by the Government of Karnataka.

Eligibility requirements to get free sewing machine

• Only women can apply under this scheme
•  Applicant must be a permanent citizen of Karnataka.
•  Candidate should be below poverty line.
•   Family income should be less than 12,000 rupees.
•   Women can apply for this scheme if they are able to work in working class.
•   Minimum age of women under this scheme should be 20.  Now maximum age is 49.
•  Candidate should have talent in tailoring.

 Only women who come under the eligibility criteria can avail the free sewing machine scheme.

How to apply for online registration for the scheme?

 First visit the official website of the scheme National Portal of India.  Open the page https://www.india.gov.in/.  Now Free Sewing Machine Scheme Karnataka Link Online Application Form.  Click on that link.  After that the application form will open on the screen.  Click on the download option below the application form.  Download the application form and fill all the forms.  All your personal details like name, age, mobile number, address, Aadhaar number and other necessary information should be entered here.  After completing the application form all the documents should be attached with the application form.
