The schedule for the postponed 'Class 5 and 8 Valuation Examination' has been announced

Karnataka Board of School Examination and Evaluation has released the schedule for conducting Board Examination for Class 5th and 8th students in all schools of the state curriculum for the year 2022-23.

In the year 2022-23, it has been decided to conduct the assessment (board) examination from 27-03-2023 to 01-04-2023 for the students of class 5 and 8 of all government, aided and unaided schools following the state curriculum.

The evaluation scheduled from 13,03,2023 for the students of class 5 and 8 of all government, aided and unaided schools following the state curriculum for the year 2022-23 was postponed as per the order of the High Court.

Presently, the High Court has allowed the evaluation of Class 5 and Class 8 students from 27.03.2023 onwards, accordingly for Class 5 students from 27.03.2013 to 30.03.2023 and for Class 8 students from 27.03.2023 to 01.04.2023. Evaluation is underway.

In the interest of the students, the respective schools have been considered as evaluation centers. This assessment is to find out the learning level of the students, learning disabilities and the extent to which there is a setback in the learning of the subject. No student will be failed in this assessment and will be passed to the next class. The result of this evaluation will be communicated to the students only. In a release, the board said that the confidentiality of the result will be maintained.

27-03-2023 Monday - First Language - Kannada, English, Hindi, Urdu, Marathi, Telugu, Tamil.

28-03-2023 - Tuesday- Second Language - English, Kannada.

29-03-2023 - Wednesday- Core Subject - Environmental Studies.

30-03-2023 - Thursday - Core Subject- Mathematics.

Class 8 Time Table

27-03-2023- Monday- Kannada, English, English (NCERT), Hindi, Urdu, Marathi, Telugu, Tamil, Telugu, Sanskrit.

28-03-2023 - Tuesday - Second Language- English, Kannada.

29-03-2023 - Wednesday- Hindi, Hindi (NCERT), Kannada, English, Arabic, Persian, Urdu, Sanskrit, Konkani, Tulu.

30-03-2023 - Thursday-Core Subject- Mathematics.

31-03-2023 - Friday-Core Subject - Science.

01-04-2023 - Saturday- Core subject Social Science.
