National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS) Scholarship is awarded to students who are in 8th standard and now unable to pursue their further studies due to financial weakness of the family. NMMS Scholarship 2023 Eligibility Details:
Talented students are targeted under the schemes to benefit with the help of scholarships.
Students are eligible for this scholarship after 8th standard.
In class 8th, they need at least 100% to apply. Must have scored 55% marks.
There is relaxation of 5% marks for students belonging to SC/ST category.
In the 7th class, Sh. Students who score 55% or more can appear in the selection test.
Family income should not exceed 1.5 lakh per annum as per all norms.
Initially the scholarship was to be given to the students of class 9 and then the extension of the program was made to appear in class 10 to 12.
Regarding continuation of scholarship. The percentage of students in 10th class. Must have secured 60% or more marks.
The selection process is done by the central government organization at the state level.
Applicants must be regular in classes.

Students of KVS, Sainik School and other private schools are not eligible to apply.
The reservation made under the program is purely based on the State Government norms.

- Firstly, applicants should visit the official link scholarship.gov.in.
- Then go to the new registration link available on the home page.
- Now, you can see a new page open on your system.
- Click on New User? Registration option is also provided.
- Then select the given option for tick mark, also read all the instructions.
- Then click continue and wait a few moments.
- After this again a new page will appear with a new form.
- Enter required details in this form, documents should also be attached.
- Finally, click submit to complete the login process.
- Now, one has to log in with this given username and password while registering on the web portal.
- Apply under the NMMS Scholarship Program as per your requirements.
