Sometimes when we change residence we want to change address in Aadhaar also.  Is it possible to replace a photo that was taken many years ago because it might be embarrassing to look at now?  Some of our information in Aadhaar can be changed.

How to change your photo in aadhaar card?

 If you go to any Aadhaar Enrollment Center, you can change your photo on Aadhaar card.  You can find out where the Aadhaar center is located near your home and its address online through this website.

An application for this function is available at the Aadhaar Enrollment Centre.  It should be filled and submitted there.

 The operator there will verify your biometric information.

 Then your photo will be taken there and added to Aadhaar.

 After this, an acknowledgment slip with URN number will be given.

Now you can download the digital copy of your Aadhaar card on UIDAI's website.  Make sure it has your updated photo.

Other ways to update information in Aadhaar card:

 You need to go to Aadhaar Enrollment Center to update photo on Aadhaar card.  Changes in name, address etc. can also be done at this Aadhaar center.
