Ancestors say that a woman is perfect only if she is called mother.  Indeed, the sweetness of motherhood can only be enjoyed but cannot be explained.  But, when a pregnant woman brings another life to this earth, that mother gets another birth.

Mother's health is also important at that time.  For nine months, the mother should take care of her own health as well as the health of the unborn child.  You should go to the doctor regularly.  Medicines should be used.  More nutritious food should be taken.  All this comes at a cost.  That is why central government is giving special scheme to maternity women.  Its name is Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana (PMMVY).  Its main objective is to protect the health of pregnant women.  Millions of women have already benefited under this scheme.  You don't know about this project yet.

 5 thousand under Matru Vandana Yojana, the central government will provide 5,000 to women.  5,000 will be directly credited to the beneficiary's bank account.  But, this money does not come all at once.  Bank accounts of women will be credited in installments.  The money will be deposited in three more installments.  Under the Matru Vandana Yojana scheme, pregnant women will be paid in three installments.  1000 for registration in this scheme under the first installment.  Then under the second installment 2 thousand rupees in the sixth month of pregnancy.  And in the last installment, after the birth of the child, another 2 thousand rupees will come.

 You can directly register online to join this scheme.  Otherwise your Asha workers will enroll you in this scheme.  You can directly go to the scheme website through the link https://pmmvy-cas.nic.in/public/beneficiaryuseraccount/login.  It says Beneficiary Login.  Register and login.

Who is eligible?

 * This scheme is applicable to all pregnant women.

 * Only the first child will get money under the scheme.  Not eligible for second child birth.

 * This scheme is applicable for all states.

 * Central and State Government employees are not eligible for this scheme.

 * LMP date is definitely required if you want to get benefit under the scheme.  Must also have MCP card.  You can collect these from your Asha workers.
