The Public Education Department has released the Right to Education Act (RTE) first round seat allotment results for the year 2023-24, stating that 5,105 children have been the beneficiaries.

Parents of students who have applied for admission through RTE can visit the official website of the Education Department https://www.schooleducation.kar.nic.in/ and check the result.

How to Check RTE First Round Result
Parents of students visit the official website https://www.schooleducation.kar.nic.in/.
Click on the 'RTE 2023 Seat Allotment Status' link on the home page.
Then another page will open.
Type the application number and register mobile number on that page.
Then give 'Submit'. Then the result will appear on the screen.
A total of 11,532 applications have been submitted across the state for the year 2023-24 and seat allocation has been done through lottery. Seats have been allotted to 5,105 eligible children and the information of the selected children will be sent to the parents' mobile numbers by the Education Department.
May 29, 2023 is the last day to enroll children in school. As all the documents of parents and son are thoroughly verified at the departmental level before allotment of seats, there is no need for the management board to verify these documents for any reason.
The school management cannot collect any fee from the children. The school management board should compulsorily record the details of the enrolled students online on the departmental website on a daily basis.
The Public Education Department said that if the information is not uploaded, the respective school management board will be responsible for further action.
