How To Register For E-Shram Card - The Central Government has launched 'E-Shram Portal' to provide financial assistance to those working in the unorganized sector.  Through this portal, Indian workers can get help in getting jobs based on their skills.  Any laborer who wants to take advantage of this scheme has to register his name on e-shrum portal.  For this you have to register your name online by filling the e-shram card registration form by visiting the official website eshram.gov.in.  The e-shrum card scheme comes under the Ministry of Labor and Employment.

How to register for e-shrum card?

 >> To avail e-shramik card, first you visit e-shram portal.

 >> For this you have to click on http://register.eshram.gov.in/#/user/self link.

 >> Online registration form will open in front of you.

 >> Fill Aadhaar Card Linked Number, Captcha Code in the form.

 >> After filling the form, an OTP will be sent to your official mobile number, now fill it in the OTP box.

 >> Then click on register option and now you can register your name in e-shrum portal.

 >> After filling the form, you have to upload the required documents.

 >> Now submit the documents by clicking on submit button.

What are the benefits of e-shrum card?

 If workers belonging to unorganized sector register their names on this portal, they will get an accident insurance facility of Rs 2 lakh from the central government.  Due to this card, workers can avail direct benefits of many schemes including Pradhan Mantri Shrama Yogi Maan Dhan Yojana, National Pension Yojana for Self Employed, Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Yojana and Atal Pension Yojana.

Eligibility for e-shrum card

 The age of the e-shrum card registrants should be between 18 to 59 years.  Employee should not be paying income tax.  Also they should not be members of EPFO, ESIC.  The Ministry of Labor issues a 12-digit UAN to workers who register on the e-shrum portal
